Establishment of Ronika

Initially, Ronika was just an idea in the mind of an engineer who had recently begun researching the concept of the Internet of Things (IoT). Realizing the high potential of this technology, Ronika was founded on December 9, 2018, with the goal of developing IoT systems. The company started its operations at the Persian Gulf University Incubator.

Our First Automation Project

The first project of the company started in 2019. In this project, 21 water meters at Persian Gulf University were equipped with a smart monitoring system. This system collects real-time water consumption data from the university's buildings and reports it through a web-based application. The system is designed on the LoRaWAN network.

Developing ThingsPod IoT Platform

After several IoT projects, Ronika identified the need for an integrated infrastructure to optimize the development process of internet-connected devices. This led to the creation of the ThingsPod IoT platform, a comprehensive solution for device management, data collection, processing, and visualization of IoT data.

Given the notable achievements and success of Ronika in its early years, the company secured membership in the joint incubator center of Persian Gulf University and the Persian Gulf Science and Technology Park. This membership is considered a significant step in Ronika's rapid growth, aiding in networking and synergies to explore and create new opportunities.

Development of Dahir Smart Aquaculture Platform

One of our significant products is Dahir Smart Aquaculture Platform, which was introduced to the market in 2022 after three years of research and development. Dahir provides features such as remote monitoring and control, precise reporting, crisis alerts, acoustic feeding control, and artificial intelligence analytics for the first time in Iran.
